To Keep That Which Cannot Be Kept
Spiro Arts, Park City, Utah
April-May 2011
Completed during a six-week residency at Spiro Arts in Park City, Utah, this body of work explores the ways in which we attempt to preserve the ephemeral. Using materials such as graphite, paper, honey, salt, and cheesecloth, each piece of this exhibit considers our too-human desires to hold onto things, in this particular case, our loved ones.
The following slides show an overview of the work and images from the open studios event.
Details of specific works may be found listed under this section, in the index bar.
